"Wes hāl" is the Old English greeting "be well" or "be healthy", the toast that gave us the word "wassail". Above it is an original line drawing inspired by the 7th-century helmet from the Sutton Hoo ship burial in East Anglia: crest, eyebrows, nose and moustache in gold, with interlace panels on the cheek guards. Lettered "WES HĀL" in bold classical capitals with the subline "BE WELL".
